IPL Photofacials

IPL Photofacial treatments require no anesthetic and they involve little or no downtime. As few as one or two treatments can reduce spots, smooth uneven pigmentation, help repair broken facial capillaries, and reduce the redness associated with rosacea. Additional treatments will continue to improve tone, texture, and stimulate collagen and elastin.

Most clients liken IPL to the gentle snap of an elastic band against the skin. While no anesthetic is required, we do cool the skin, which helps to minimize any discomfort.

IPL therapy involves short, intense pulses of light being delivered to the skin. As a result, you may experience mild erythema in the treatment area along with temporary darkening of any hyperpigmentation that was targeted. This will subside in a few days and is no cause for alarm.

The ideal number of treatments will depend upon your skin and the issues you wish to address. We usually book a series of three treatments for most clients to start but many do continue with treatment to achieve the desired result.
