▸ How many sessions are required?

Multiple treatments are required for best results. We always recommend 6 to 12 treatments but in some cases, more may be required.

▸ Does it hurt?

The best way to describe this treatment is that it feels like an elastic band snapping on the area treated. The IPL system pulses light into the skin which creates heat in the area as well. Ours does have an internal cooling system which helps alleviate some discomfort. Our system also has a larger spot size which cuts down on the overall treatment time, making them quicker and more comfortable.

▸ Can clients with darker skin tones get this service?

Yes, our system allows for treatment of darker skin tones but more treatments may be required for best results.

▸ Is it permanent?

Laser hair removal is actually a misnomer as we are not removing the hair follicles but are impairing the follicles ability to produce hair by shutting off the blood supply.

▸ When will I see results?

Depending on skin and hair colour you will see a significant reduction within 3 months of your first treatment.
